There was an international awareness on Marimekko's designs when Jackie Kennedy wore the bold colors during her husband's presidency. Marimekko has always been known as a line with very bold colors and prints. Get some fast fashion added into the mix and you get a limited edition Marimekko collection in H&M stores.
The line can be described as a 1960's vintage inspired look. It has the bright, bold colors and prints that you would be able to find in the 1960's. There was a collection created for both men and women. The color combinations that will be seen will be red and pink; olive and orange; red and turquoise; red, white and black.
